Grays Point Public School - "Our School in the Park"

The Friendship Tree A group of our Year 6 Wellbeing Mentors have established an area of the school where students can go during lunchtimes called The Friendship Tree. The girls running the group decorate the tree, place cushions around the base and prepare games and stories for those wishing to participate. The initiative came out of our anti-bullying strategies and is an example of students supporting students, as it is pitched as a place where kids can go and find a friend or make a new one. |
